This is a little coding project that I designed for my brother. He works in patient assistance at a health provider, and he wanted an easy way of checking several resources simultaneously.

After several hard drive failures without having realized that my hard drive failed a SMART check, I decided to write an applescript that will check the SMART status silently upon system startup. Details and a download are available.
